They have been at the forefront of articulating climate justice approaches and challenging the dominant narratives and systems that prioritize profit over people and the planet. However, the fight is far from over, and the power dynamics within the UN process and global climate politics must be continuously scrutinized. The upcoming COPs in Dubai and Eastern Europe will present new challenges, but the need for skepticism and resistance remains. Ultimately, the goal is to move beyond climate justice towards a more comprehensive eco-socialist framework that addresses the root causes of the climate crisis and promotes a just and sustainable future for all
