THIRD TIME’S A CHARM? Veep Tries to Fix Word Salad, Hires Third Chief Speechwriter Since Taking Office
Brace yourselves: Kamala Harris has a new chief speechwriter.
According to Politico, the Veep will try to beat the word salad blues with new head scribe Dave Cavell. Cavell most recently wrote speeches for Biden’s climate envoy John Kerry and worked as a speechwriter in the final year of the Obama White House.
The Veep’s first Chief Speech Writer, Kate Childs Graham, announced her departure in February. Whilst her second, Meghan Groob, left this summer after only a few months in the role.
