BORDER MAYHEM: Crossings in November Smash Historical Records

Border crossings in the month of November remained high according to the latest report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

CBP reports that 233,740 migrants were apprehended along the U.S. southern border in November–breaking apprehensions and marked the highest ever number of border crossings ever recorded for the month of November.

As Fox News’ Bill Melugin noted, the timing of the release–the Friday before Christmas–is likely an attempt to bury the news:

The sudden surge in crossings is due to the expected expiration of the Trump-era Title 42 policy which allowed Border Patrol agents to swiftly return migrants to Mexico

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court to delayed the expiration of Title 42 was originally scheduled to come to an end on December 21.
