Pushing his body to the limits, the far-left Democrat Rep. Greg Casar managed to go without eating or drinking water for a whole nine hours, a feat that millions accomplish while they sleep. Rep. Casar posted photos celebrating his strike, accompanied by a caption that seemed like a parody. He expressed his honor at being joined by workers in Texas and across the nation, as well as colleagues who were advocating for federal heat safety protections. Despite going without food or water for nine hours, he claimed to be more energized than ever to achieve his goals. It is worth noting that most sources state that the protest only lasted eight hours.
In a clear example of a government occupied by theater kids, Casar shared a dramatic photo of the moment his strike was ending, where he was being attended to by healthcare workers, who were presumably taking his pulse. Like AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar, Casar is part of the so-called „Squad,“ known for frequently engaging in childish and cringe-worthy political stunts. As expected, Casar’s stunt was widely mocked.
