The weekly newspaper Die Zeit has allowed a 15-year-old student to spread the demand in a guest article that students should be prepared for the allegedly upcoming climate crisis in school. The text literally says: „Why do we learn how to solve quadratic equations with the PQ formula, but not how to live in a world that is two, three, or four degrees warmer? Solving mathematical equations, no problem, but the climate crisis…“ The Zeit post on Twitter/X varies this interesting argument from the member of the climate apocalypticists of „Fridays for Future“ with the subject German: „What good is the perfect analysis of a poem for students if they don’t know how to deal with the climate crisis? A student demands that living with climate change finally become a topic in school.“ The comments under the tweet from Die Zeit, which was previously known as a newspaper for educated citizens, are mostly negative and mocking. One user said: „An analysis of propaganda in schools would be very helpful.“ In another comment, it says: „In addition to gender nonsense, masturbation rooms, Islamic propaganda, and fear of Corona, there are now lessons on how to stick to the streets and whine. Wasn’t school once there to educate children so that they can grow into independent thinking adults?“

A photo of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, injured after his sports accident (with an eye patch), was accompanied by a well-known Scholz quote about the controversial end of nuclear power: „The topic of nuclear power is a dead horse in Germany.“ The SPD tweeters wrote: „You should see the horse.“ One user commented: „What is this? You don’t know whether to laugh or cry.“ Another user said: „The dead horse is called Germany.“ Another commentator depicted the SPD as a dead horse that one should slowly dismount from.
