Government Figures Show Non-Germans Responsible for Over 39 Per Cent of Murders
Figures released by the German government show that non-German foreigners are responsible for over 39 per cent of total murders and 56.25 per cent of manslaughter convictions.
The stats were released after an official request was made by Alternative for Germany (AfD) representative in parliament Stephan Brandner.
Between 2000 and 2020, non-Germans convicted of murder rose from 29.27 per cent to 39.02 per cent.
The proportion of foreigners convicted of manslaughter rose from 37.53 per cent to 56.25 per cent.
Foreigners make up around 12 per cent of the German population, meaning they are significantly overrepresented in serious crimes.
“The unacceptable phenomenon of dramatic foreign crime must finally be solved,” said Brandner. “The figures clearly show that in Germany we have a huge problem with immigrant criminals. Immigrants from Afghanistan and Syria, in particular, pose a major security problem for our country.”

As Remix News highlights, the figures are actually even worse than they appear to be.
“The data does not tell the whole story either, as migrants who have become German citizens are not counted as “foreigners” in the statistics as well as second-generation migrants. As a result, there is no clear breakdown of crime statistics based on ethnicity that would tell the full story about murder and other serious crimes.”
As we previously highlighted, official crime data released by Düsseldorf’s Ministry of the Interior has revealed that in the region of North Rhine-Westphalia, foreigners and migrants, who represent around 14.8 per cent of the population, are responsible for almost half of recorded gang rapes.
Despite all this, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel suggested her 2015 decision to allow a million migrants to enter the country was a success.
As Reuters reported, across the whole country, “Violent crime rose by about 10 percent in 2015 and 2016, a study showed. It attributed more than 90 percent of that to young male refugees.”
One particularly harrowing case involved Maria Ladenburger, the daughter of an EU official who was raped, murdered and dumped in a river in Freiburg.
Her murderer was Afghan migrant Hussein Khavari, who entered Germany as a refugee in November 2015.
