Video Shows Reinstated ‘Tennessee 3’ State Rep Justin Jones Stopping Cars, Assaulting Drivers During BLM Summer of Rage
Footage has resurfaced of a member of the notorious “Tennessee Three” stopping cars and assaulting drivers during BLM’s destructive summer of rage in 2020.
The video, filmed by a surveillance camera in June 2020, shows Democrat Rep. Justin Bautista-Jones, AKA Brother Jones, who was reinstated as a state rep Monday after being expelled last week, accompanying protesters in downtown Nashville where they obstructed traffic.
At one point, the footage shows a motorist attempting to drive past the human barricade. Jones and another protester intervened, and an altercation ensued during which the driver was hit with a traffic cone.

In June of 2020, Justin Bautista-Jones, better known as ‘Brother Jones’ locally, was one of the publicly visible (often by design) protestors at the State Capitol. He received a lot of pushback from his own community after it was discovered he was often only making appearances when he knew there would be media coverage, and eventually had a falling out with one of the other most visible female members of the group. Throughout the entire time, he has faced over a dozen charges but always denied that he was violent – despite multiple assaults, assault on an officer, and reckless endangerment charges. In the newly obtained video, one of his assaults was captured, and presented to the Grand Jury – and he was indicted on two counts of reckless endangerment.
At the time, Jones claimed he was being oppressed by the justice system which he said “will try to push a false narrative portraying me as ‘violent’ as a way to deflect from their own actions.”

The video, however, clearly corroborates the assault charges and nullifies any claims by Jones he was non-violent.
The footage comes as leftist mobs have descended on the Tennessee House in recent weeks in favor of gun control and against the ouster of the “Tennessee Three,” who were expelled last week for leading one of the leftist protests on the House floor during a legislative session.
Jones was reinstated Monday, ahead of fellow expelled Rep. Justin Pearson’s reinstatement (D-Nashville) Wednesday.
