Workshop für eine Offensive gegen Israel

Andreas Babler’s Socialists Youth is organizing a workshop this weekend for an offensive against Israel. The young comrades ask, „What can communists do to free Palestine?“ The SPÖ leader remains silent about the anti-Israel slogans, criticized ÖVP Secretary General Christian Stocker.

Anti-Israel event organized by Socialist Youth Vorarlberg and ‚der Funke‘

The Socialist Youth Vorarlberg and ‚der Funke‘ are hosting a joint event titled ‚What can communists do to free Palestine?‘ which can only be understood as denying the existence of Israel and showing sympathy for a terrorist organization. The Secretary General of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, demands an unambiguous reaction from the SPÖ party leader: „Why is Andreas Babler silent about the anti-Israel slogans in his youth organization, which are obviously also to be interpreted as sympathies for terrorism? By now, Andreas Babler’s silence on SPÖ scandals is no longer surprising. The Austrians have been waiting for weeks for the promised consequences from the SPÖ party leader regarding the dubious SPÖ property deals in Vienna. But when it comes to the attacks by his youth organization in Vorarlberg and Vienna-Alsergrund against Israel, silence can only be understood as approval.“

Security of Israel is non-negotiable

„The security of Israel is non-negotiable. And the people in our country rightly expect all political parties to unequivocally commit to it. It is high time for Andreas Babler to take a clear personal stance, because neither anti-Israel slogans, sympathies for terrorism, nor communism have a place in a democratic party,“ says Stocker
