Project Veritas: DHS/FBI Intel Bulletin Smears Conservatives as „Domestic Violent Extremists“ After Mar-a-Lago Raid
In their latest video, Project Veritas leaked a Biden DHS/FBI intelligence bulletin that smears conservatives as „domestic violent extremists“ (DVEs) in the wake of the Mar-a-Lago raid. This also comes after the FBI was recently accused of „padding“ the numbers on domestic right-wing terrorism to fit the narrative they want.
The leaked document shows the DHS warning about a heightened security risk for federal agents, and FBI agents in particular because of the recent raid. The document lists potential warning signs for DVEs and predicts that violent threats will continue to increase this year, warning that the 2022 midterms may serve „as an additional flashpoint around which to escalate threats against perceived ideological opponents, including federal law enforcement personnel.“
The DHS also says that the ideology of DVEs overlaps with the belief that „government overreach“ and election fraud are threats to the country. “In recent years, DVEs adhering to different violent extremist ideologies have coalesced around perceptions of government overreach and election fraud to threaten and conduct violence. As a result of recent activities, we assess that potential targets of DVE violence moving forward could include law enforcement, judicial officials, individuals implicated in conspiracy theories, and perceived ideological opponents who challenge their worldview.”
